The Canton of Graubünden and its capital Chur are situated along the North-South Alpine Crossing, better known as the San Bernardino Route. Chur is considered to be the oldest town in Switzerland and, thanks to its position on the edge of the mountains, the most important gateway to Switzerland’s holiday region. St. Moritz, Davos, Laax and Lenzerheide are within easy reach.
Chur is also the starting point for the Albula Line, designated as a cultural heritage site by UNESCO, with the Bernina Express and the Glacier Express to Zermatt.
It’s a charming town with both history and culture.
